Visual Impact - Melbourne

Visual Impact is the premier trade show for the sign, display and printing industries. Held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre,  the show attracts visitors from throughout Australia and overseas.

This show gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our Multicam Vision System, the perfect solution for Print-to-cut applications.

Live demonstrations showed the simplicity and ease with which pre-printed panels can be cut quickly and accurately in a variety of materials including Foamex and Alupanel. The fully automatic vision system compensates for numerous printing errors including skew, shrink and stretch ensuring perfect alignment of printing and cutting.

The machine on exhibition that featured the Vision System was an SR2412vi which has a process area of 2400mm x 1200mm and featured a 10 station travelling rotary tool change unit, vacuum hold down bed and was fitted with a 7Kw HSD ceramic bearing spindle.

Of course when the Vision System is not required the Multicam machine can be used for regular routing. This versatility is essential to modern sign and display companies and further enhances the appeal of Multicam CNC routing machines.

Products such as acrylic, timber, aluminium, foam and composite materials can all be processed on Multicam CNC routing machines. The ability to draw on our experience in CNC tooling assists in achieving maximum productivity from your Multicam CNC routing machine.

As well as samples of products produced on Multicam machines we also had on display our ever popular M-I small format CNC routing machine. This model featured a quick tool change spindle and vacuum hold down bed.
